African Safari Specialists
Activities on safari revolve around game drives led by an experienced guide, usually 2 per day, but sometimes for a full day with a picnic lunch. Other activities include guided walking safaris, cultural visits, night drives and hot air balloon safaris, but this varies from camp to camp.
East Africa includes the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. View E-brochure.
This region includes the famous Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara Game Reserve, where the Great Migrations occurs. Other attractions include the Ngorongoro Crater, the spice island of Zanzibar, Africa's highest mountain (Kilimanjaro), largest game reserve (Selous) and largest lake (Victoria). Rwanda is Africa's most densely populated country, and tourism is steadily increasing thanks to its main attraction of mountain gorilla trekking in Parc National des Volcans. Tourism is essential to the economy and wildlife conservation.
The safari camps range from rustic mobile tented camps to high-end luxury villas. Rates are usually fully inclusive of all meals, local drinks, laundry service and daily game viewing activities.
